The Palouse 2021

The Palouse is an extensive area in Eastern Washington-Western Idaho that consists of rolling hills whose topsoil can be as deep as 15 feet. It is planted in wheat and canola. As these crops ripen the wheat turns golden brown and the canola turns yellow.
